The Empire State Coalition of
Youth & Family Services (ESC) is a statewide coalition of
community-based, youth-serving agencies and individuals working on
behalf of runaway, homeless, and street-involved youth. Formed in the
early 1970s, ESC continues to take the lead in: monitoring trends;
facilitating networking; providing training and technical assistance
specific to the needs of agencies serving runaway, homeless, and
street-involved youth; advocating on behalf of our youth; and,
developing new models to serve our youth and their families.

Process for Becoming
a Member
All organizations or
individuals interested in becoming members of ESC must complete an
application (download links below) and send it to us -- do not include
any dues payments with applications. Completed applications are then
distributed to our members for review, allowing them to submit comments
on the application. Pending applications will then be considered for
acceptance at the next upcoming Board Meeting. Applicants will then be
notified of their acceptance or denial of membership. Accepted members
will then be billed for their dues payment.
